1. Who is responsible for your data
Menovya, based in Switzerland, is responsible for your personal data. Contact: hello@menovya.com. We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What we collect and why
- When you sign up for a free resource or our newsletter (for example, the Perimenopause Toolkit): your first name and email address, to send you the resource and our emails. Legal basis: your consent.
- When you buy a product: your name, email address, billing country and purchase details, to deliver your product, give you access, send you program emails, handle refunds and keep our accounting records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- In the community: your name, profile and what you choose to post. Other members can see it.
- When you email us or fill in a form (feedback or testimonial consent): what you write to us, to answer you and improve our programs.
- Technical data: basic information such as your IP address, browser and pages visited, collected by our hosting and email tools to keep the site working and secure (see section 6).
3. Health information
We don't ask you for health information to buy or use our products. Some tools, such as the symptom score in The Peri Lab, are designed for you to fill in on your own PDF, and we don't collect them. If you choose to share health details with us (for example, in an email or a feedback form) or in the community, we use them only to answer you or improve our programs, and treat them as sensitive data. Please only share in the community what you're comfortable with other members seeing.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with the service providers we need to run Menovya, who process it on our behalf:
- Systeme.io (France): email sending, sales pages, payments, course area and community.
- Payment providers connected to Systeme.io (such as Stripe or PayPal): payment processing.
- Netlify (United States): website hosting.
Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland, the EU or the UK, including in the United States. In that case, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. How long we keep it
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Customer and purchase data: as long as you have access to your products, and for 10 years for accounting records, as required by Swiss law.
- Community posts: for as long as the community exists, unless you delete them or ask us to.
6. Cookies
Our pages use cookies that are necessary for the site, checkout and course area to work. We don't use advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You can at any time:
- Unsubscribe from our emails, with the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or receive a copy.
- Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law (for example, accounting records).
- Withdraw your consent, or object to how we use your data.
Just email hello@menovya.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the authority in your country; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Security
We use reputable providers with secure connections and access controls. No system is completely risk-free: if a data breach ever affected you, we would tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Children
Our products are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page, with its date.
